I would think that this story would make the NC news but no. This is from Canadian Driver, June 28, 2007:Greensboro, North Carolina - Honda Aircraft Company Inc. has broken ground for its new headquarters and manufacturing facility at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina. The company will produce the new HondaJet advanced light jet. Honda will manage the research, development, sales, marketing and manufacturing of the HondaJet at the new facility, which will replace the company's existing hangar and office complex at the airport. The first phase of construction will be completed in spring 2008 and will consist of office space, research facilities and an airplane hangar.
